I am sure that I am not the only one to be rushed off my feet in the run up to Christmas. This was my last session before I took holiday and was captured on one frosty Saturday morning at Duthie Park, Aberdeen. I met this family 6 months prior when their second son had entered into their lives. It is such an honour to be invited back to families and capture special family moments.
This baby boy was a tiny boy who was a dream to photograph at nearly 2 weeks and now at 6 months he was close to being able to sit all by himself. I really enjoy photographing the contented 6 month stage, just as they are exploring the world taking everything in, tasting textures and often eating their fingers…. The expressions to go with this development stage is just priceless and I love it.
I could have shared a gallery of the expressions I got during this session but instead decided to share the special moments captured in the park watching the family play at the end of the session.
